We are doing it! Join us on May 5 for Give STL Day!

It’s on! Caring Ministries, Inc. is participating in Give STL Day, which will be held on May 5. This is an online initiative for individuals to give to a non-profit in the St. Louis area. The giving can only be done online and the opportunity to give is only on May 5. By being a donor you get the opportunity of winning Free Cardinals Baseball tickets throughout the day. Southampton Neighborhood Association Annual Electronic Recycling Drive

All are invited to bring items! Spread the word!  TVs—1 per car ($ fee for additional), Computer, Networking, and Office Equipment, Personal and Home Electronics (pda, radios, remote controls,etc...), Media (dvds, cds, vhs tapes, etc...), -Telephone Equipment (cell phones, answering machines, pagers, etc...), Saturday May 9, 2015 9:00 a.m. to Noon  at Hope Lutheran Church Parking Lot 5218 Neosho (parking lot is in back—Corner of Itaska and Brannon)  Questions on what you can bring— 314-428-0777 Spectrum Ecycle.

 

WOL RESTAURANT NIGHT 

The next restaurant night will be held at the Dairy Queen located at 5409 Hampton Ave., St. Louis, MO  63109 on Monday, May 18, 2015, from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m.  15% of sales to Word of Life friends and family will be donated to the Word of Life PTL.  You must mention that you are there for the Word of Life fundraiser in order for your purchase to count.  No flyer is necessary.  In addition, please mention what grade(s) your children are in.  The class with the most participants will receive coupons for free Dilly bars to use on a separate occasion.  Please come out to support the PTL, enjoy awesome food, and meet other Word of Life families.

MOPs
MOPS needs your help! Timothy/ Concordia's MOPS group is in need of a few volunteers. We had 14 children last week and need help with childcare! On the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 9-10:30am. See Kali Wood for more information.

 

Volleyball
All are welcome to join us for a family friendly volleyball game Friday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the Timothy Gym. All ages are welcome to play as we enjoy fellowship, family and exercise. You may even build a few volleyball skills.
