Ecumenical Bible Study
Jesus' Earthly ministry: How He prepared for Easter
Preparing our hearts for Easter through prayer and scripture study with fellow Christians can help us experience the most out of this special day. Join Lindenwood Area Senior Ministry for a 4-session ecumenical bible study led by Concordia Seminary student, Ambrose Shaltanis. We’ll examine the life of Jesus going over the most important parts of His ministry. This will include Jesus’ baptism and entering into the wilderness, some of His miracles, the transfiguration, and the passion. We will gather in Memorial Hall of Southwest Baptist Church (6401 Scanlan) at 1pm on Wednesdays, March 5, 12, April 2, 9. Please RSVP to attend one or more sessions by contacting katie@lasministry.org or 314-647-4591.

Meet Ambrose
This spring, Ambrose Shaltanis, a first-year seminary student from Concordia Seminary, is doing a semester of service learning with LASM! Originally from Plano, TX, Ambrose moved to St. Louis in August to begin seminary. Ambrose enjoys all types of music, playing the organ, learning from and having conversations, and spending time outdoors. He will be shadowing Katie and Leigh to learn the ins and outs of how our senior ministry works, assist with LASM activities, and even facilitate a Lenten bible study. He is open to providing caring visits to those in need of prayer and support. If you would like a visit from Ambrose, please reach out to Katie to arrange, katie@lasministry.org or 314-647-4591. Please join us in welcoming Ambrose!
