For 4 weeks we will hear and engage with this small book (which isn't even in the Lectionary!). Though Nahum is considered a "minor" prophet, he proclaims God's Word with a major voice. Through vivid and powerful language, Nahum gives us a message of judgement and deliverance for God's people. Join us as we grow in faith through God's Word as we explore this often-overlooked book of the Old Testament! Lectionary Study - 3rd Floor North Side Teacher – Seminary Fieldworker |

A Caring Tip on Assertiveness from Our Stephen Ministry:
Jesus assertively chose to be compassionate, seeing each person as loved by God and worthy of respect—intentionally putting them and their needs before himself. We too can make the choice to treat others with kindness, care, and respect no matter who they are—with the Jesus’ help. Caring Assertiveness, p. 127. |
