O Lord, as our Stephen Minister training continues this week, we lift up our Stephen Leaders as they teach the class, and all our Stephen Minister trainees as they learn new concepts and apply their gifts and skills to share your love and care with others. Draw them closer to you so that they may stand firm in your love as they reach out to others. By the power of your Spirit. Amen.

Throughout this month they’ll learn new skills in listening, distinctively Christian caring, and a process approach to caring” focusing on the essentials of using their Christian faith in caring for hurting people and learning practical ways to live out the reality that “The Stephen Minister is the caregiver, and God is the Curegiver.”
