About NashvilleCCB:

Nashville Center for Canine Behavior believes a balanced mind is the foundation for every dog. This is instrumental to achieve good manners in any environment! Without this foundation, behavior issues, bad manners, and destructive habits develop. At NashvilleCCB, we use obedience as a tool to redirect focus, calm the mind, and provide guidance for daily life with your furry family member! We can help by teaching the thought process behind unwanted behaviors and how you can guide your dog to achieve productive and healthy behaviors!

About Beth Brooks:

Eleven years ago, Beth left the finance world as a personal banker in St. Louis, MO to move to Chicago, IL to start her real passion, dogs! She started her new journey in Chicago, IL working with comfort dogs. She went on daily trips with the comfort dogs to schools, nursing homes, and hospitals to share the love, comfort, and happiness that only dogs can give. She also did crisis and disaster response with the dogs all over the country. She was also instrumental in starting a military dog handler division that worked with military families. After two years, Beth left her job with the comfort dogs to focus on a new direction - dog training!

Beth has a deep connection and passion for training service and therapy dogs. She knows from personal experience how a service dog can give someone confidence, independence, and support. In 2017 Beth was diagnosed with Epilepsy after having two grand mal seizures several months apart. Buck, her golden retriever, gave the only warning to both seizures. Without any outward symptoms of an impending seizure, Buck alerted her about a minute before the seizure. He is her only warning she and will also lay under her head to protect from injury. For over five years, Buck was by her side, enabling her independence and safety. Buck is now retired as her seizure alert dog and enjoys long naps, rolling in the grass, and reminding everyone to enjoy the little things. She is truly grateful for what he does for her every day. Buck also alerted Beth before a panic attack and intervenes to help alleviate more severe effects. Buck is her guardian angel. Through this, her passion for service and therapy dogs was developed! Beth is very lucky to be able to help give others what Buck has given her!

Beth also works with owners and their dogs with everyday obedience and behavior. Beth and Alex moved to Nashville to work with Comfort Connections training therapy dogs as well as helping Nashville pets to be well behaved, well-balanced members of the family!
