WOL "Best Private School" Award

WOL was recognized last night as “Best Private School” in the St Louis (city/county) area through the St Louis Post Dispatch Headliner Awards. 

They recognize different areas of commerce, education, etc. throughout the area and honor a “Best” in each category.  For example, The Fox Theatre won “Best Fine Arts Venue” Washington University as top university, etc.  We were honored as a “favorite” last year (top 3) for Best Private Grade School. 

This year they expanded our category to “Best Private School” so it included high schools. 

We made it to the final 9 from all private schools. When we made it to the top 3 we were told we were in the finals “against” St Louis University High School and St Mary’s High School.  The awards ceremony was held last night at the Ritz Carlton and we won. Very exciting. 

It’s a nice feather in the cap for a lot of hard work of teachers and staff and the strong partnership and support of your churches. 

A special insert in the St Louis Post Dispatch newspaper and online will be released in late September.
